Open Windows Registry
To change the flash count, open Windows Registry. Then expand the tree path below: On the Desktop pane on the right, double-click on the ForegroundFlashCount DWORD to open it. By default, it is set to 7. Select the Decimal under Base, then choose the amount of time you want taskbar apps to flash when actions are needed. A value of 0 will flash indefinitely. Click Ok to save your settings and you are done.
